About the Event

The Takeover is a free camp/seminar birthed in 2016 as an mutli-faceted platform to develop athletes athletically but also cultivating their mindset and outlook on various success. Athletic performance is the forefront of many teenage athletes with aspirations of playing professional. Statistics have proven 7% of high school athletes will play sports collegiately, and less than 1% of collegiate athletes will play professionally. Therefore, its paramount to develop the student athletes physical performance to potentially play collegiate athletics , yet imperative that we expose these student athletes to various career options as the majority wil not play professionally. The students athletes complete strength training, on field drills, and conclude the camp with a seminar featuring an array of speakers including but not limited to entrepeneurs, celebrity barbers, teachers, private chefs, NFL athletes, educators, and more. Our goal is to give the students what they want which is increased sports perfromance while giving them what they NEED which is adequate exposure to career paths for life after sports. Additonally, we have celebrity barbers from Pittsburgh,PA traveling down to offer free haircuts to particpants at the Plantation High School auditorium on June 22nd from 930am-1pm. The takeover camp/seminar is proudly sponsored by Dynamic Performance Development,Chick Fil A, Big Indetitees,  Broomfield grocery, Hair on bedford square, and  Sunrise Health & Rehabilitation Center.

    To ensure optimal experience for the participants we are restricting the current admission to 150 participants. There will be a waiting list in which additional participants may be notified at a later notice for admission acceptance.
